Arrange it your way
Quota overview, 5-hour and weekly quota, reset times, chat status, Open Codex, chat list and the dashboard are available as separate actions.
Open a chat's details
View names and live status, and pin a conversation. Open from its details to jump to that Codex conversation; the panel button opens the app.
Updates when you need them
Quota is queried every two minutes. Pressing the quota key also requests an update. The standalone quota overview offers an optional double-click to open Codex.
A pet that reacts to status
The separate pet page supports one or four keys and compatible PNG animation imports in plugin settings. Running, waiting, failed, ready-to-review and idle states select corresponding animations. After a few cycles the pet may settle into slow idle while the dot keeps the real status. This website uses an animation illustration and does not distribute personal pet artwork.
When conversations overlap
The overall dot prioritizes states needing attention: waiting for an answer, approval, plan confirmation or other input, then failed, ready to review, running and idle. Details show each conversation’s own state. Opening the plugin panel does not clear ready-to-review status; view the conversation in Codex.
BEFORE YOU INSTALL
Check that it fits your setup.
- Windows + Logi Options+ + MX Creative Keypad。
- Install Codex CLI locally and sign in.
- Quota comes from the CLI account, which may differ from the desktop account.
- Chat status is experimental: it reads local Codex data only, not ordinary ChatGPT chats or remote conversations.
- Mac has not been adapted or tested and is not supported.

Where things stand
0.8.0: live status meets the pet
Adds desktop live-state integration, distinct waiting-for-answer, approval and plan-confirmation states, pet reactions, and direct conversation navigation. Local installation, communication and navigation are verified; physical-key acceptance and all real waiting scenarios still need full testing.
Separate entries for pinned and recent chats
Pinned and recent entries open their chat details directly. List details return to the original page. Invalid paging buttons are hidden on the first and last pages.
Preparing the Windows Marketplace release
Packaging checks, clean-install testing and support materials are in progress. An official install link will appear here once listed. Mac plans will follow adaptation and hardware testing.
